Low Light Handgun

Low-Light Handgun will expose you to the basics of personal protection during times of limited visibility. We cannot predict when we may find ourselves in a violent encounter but odds are when you find yourself in a fight for your life, lighting conditions may not be ideal, we must be able to persevere and solve the problem. Multiple aspects of low light handgun usage will be covered in live fire exercises. Round out your personal protection abilities with this course and be prepared, no matter the environment, if you find yourself in a violent encounter. 
 
Topics Covered in this Course:
Use of hand-held and/or weapons mounted lights. Strengths and weaknesses of different deployment strategies, Target identification & isolation, Safety considerations for low light situations.
 
Student Requirements:
•   THIS IS NOT A BEGINER COURSE. STUDENTS MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH STRONG HAND ONLY SHOOTING, RELOADING  & WEAPONS MANIPULATIONS
 
 Equipment Requirements:
•    Pistol with at least 2 magazines (Rentals Available at CFA)
•    Holster that covers the trigger guard (Outside the waist band or Inside the waist band)
•    A belt to support the holster
•    Handheld high output tactical flashlight (Mandatory)
•    Weapons mounted light (optional)
•    Headlamp with red-light capabilities (Mandatory)
•    100 rounds of ammunition (no hand-loads)
•    Brimmed hat.
•    Clear shooting glasses with Z87+ or MilSpec APEL rating.
•    Electronic hearing protection (rentals available at CFA).
•    Water
•    And the most important piece, come with a good attitude to have some fun.
